I am HORRIBLE at New Year’s resolutions. Well, I’m horrible at setting goals. Not because I lack the motivation to accomplish them, I just lack the organization to sit down and map it out. But this year, I’m stepping it up, guys! I’m going to do it! I have myself a cute little planner and everything is getting written down. Really.
So, with that, I have set some pretty lofty goals for the business and for myself. I am finally starting to feel like I have my feet under me a little bit since moving to UT last January and I’m excited to really start building my business here! I will be opening up 2 days a week for sessions. I’m also going to be starting a new system of online booking for pre-session consultations for every session. So you will be able to book online and set up a time to meet for a consultation where we can discuss what you are looking for and how you want to display your gorgeous images in your home. I’m so excited to be able to have a more hands on approach to these sessions so we can make sure that all your needs are met! I’m also going to be offering a new promotion each month that will go out to all my newsletter subscribers! I have some really great stuff on the calendar so make sure you sign up so you don’t miss out on all the VIP deals!!
As for personal goals I’m obviously starting with organization. Anyone interested in coming and getting me started on that one? LOL! I need all the help I can get. I also plan on having a baby. Someone send help. Quick! How did I end up with 4 kids? But I also want to use my camera more around the house. I am so bad about that, but I want to start capturing more of the every day joys. I’m trying to set up a photo-a-day challenge that will help me focus more on the good things that happen every day. I’ve struggled a little bit over the last year with finding “joy in the journey” (but more on that another time). I don’t want to miss out on this amazing season of my life, and I’m going to use my camera to help me with that one.
What are your goals for this new year? I would really really love to hear them!
